Six Goals Programme Dashboard

The Six Goals, co-designed by clinical and professional leads, span the urgent and emergency care pathway and reflect the priorities in the Programme for Government 2021–2026 to provide effective, high quality and sustainable healthcare as close to home as possible, and to improve service access and integration.

These goals are the outcomes we expect for people who need to access urgent and emergency care. Successful delivery of the goals should enable optimal experience and outcomes for local populations and staff.

Important Data Notes

It’s important for us to say all this data is indicative operational information collected from many sources.  We want to show you the kinds of data we use, but as it is unvalidated (not confirmed), it may not reflect the true provision of services.  That may mean the overall trends are more useful than the specific figures.  This allows us to spot patterns, strengths and gaps, and have better conversations about how to improve services.

Why we share this

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share what we do, how we do it and how we are trying to improve.  In being open and honest, we want to make sure you can see the data we can see.  Some of the data we source from elsewhere within NHS Wales is already published and available.
