Launched in 2018, MyDESMOND has been designed to support self-management and prevention of type 2 diabetes through digital means to fit around modern lifestyles. This commentary describes the programme and the tools it provides, as well as its outcomes and growth in users since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
