Respiratory Strategic Network Update

The Respiratory Network, formed in October 2023 and led by Dr Anthony Gibson, is progressing a 2025–26 programme centred on data, pathways, service standards and digital tools. Workstreams include winter planning to cut COPD emergencies, Wales‑wide access to lung function testing via the Clinical Portal, and a multidisciplinary community breathlessness pathway moving to pilot. ‘Respiratory Matters’ webinars sustain engagement and learning.
